September 6, 2005 -- ER member struck by car

Earthriders member Zeke Shepherd is currently in stable condition in the ICU at Research Medical Center in Kansas City after being struck by a car early Saturday morning.

As some of us know firsthand, extended hospital visits are very costly. The cycling community in the greater Kansas City area is joining together to help raise funds for Zeke's medical bills.

Donations are being accepted at both BikeSource and the Trek Store of Kansas City.

The Heartland Race Series is donating 100% of the proceeds from their next race, Rapture in Misery.

Donations are also being accepted online via PayPal using the following donation button:

You can also mail a check or money order to be deposited in a trust fund for Zeke:

Premier Bank
Attention: Zeke Fund
11830 W 135th St
Overland Park, KS 66221

Please visit the ER forums for the latest information on Zeke and our community's efforts.
