April 30, 2007 -- May Earth Riders Meeting

Joe Folse wrote:

This months meeting HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED for Wednesday, May 23th at Smithville Lake. The reason for the postponement is there is a Johnson County Parks District board meeting on the 16th (Sean will post that on the calendar soon with details). The SMP meeting is a BIGGIE. I know I've said that before, but if there was ever a meeting where we needed to fill the room with mtbers, this is it.

Additionally, this also moves the ER meeting away from Bike to work week. That means one more potential day we can ride to work without any conflicts.

This meeting will be our usual ride/meet event. Rides for all levels starting as early as anyone cares to get to the park, and the meeting will start around 7:30 mtb time. That's when we'll start serving the food too.

This months meeting will be sponsored by the brand new Epic Bike and Sport bike shop up north.

If you want a guided ride on the trails, post here and we'll get you set up.

Helmets are required for this and all Earth Riders events.

April 4, 2007 -- April Earth Riders meeting

Straight from the horse's mouth (Olathejoe, Meeting Coordinator):

Are you ready for a raffle? The generous folks over at the Bike Stop are once again donating a fabulous assortment of bike gear for us to raffle off, with the proceeds going to Earth Riders Trails Association. The raffle will be run just like we did last fall: $5 for a meal/raffle ticket and additional raffle tickets available for $5.

When: Wednesday April 18th
Where: Landahl Park
What time: Folks will show up to ride as early as 5, Raffle ticket on sale from 5:30 to 7:30, raffle starts right at 7:30 mountain bike time.
Sponsored by Bike Stop

Come on out, support a great cause (mountain bike trails), ride some great trails, eat some good food and hang out with some good people.

Members and non-members are always welcome at all Earth Riders meetings, and of course helmets are required at this and all Earth Riders events.
